Shelf Pushers
Shelf pushers keep merchandise moving forward as customers remove products. A spring-loaded pusher sits behind each row and keeps steady pressure on the remaining items, while rails and dividers keep everything separated. As the row empties, products stay within easy reach instead of getting left deeper on the shelf.
These spring loaded shelf pushers can be used with bottled drinks, cans, packaged snacks, boxed goods, cosmetics and other merchandise. They’re especially useful on shelves that see a lot of traffic, where employees would otherwise have to keep pulling products forward by hand.
Spring tension can be matched to the product being displayed. Lighter packages don’t need the same amount of force as bottles, cans or other heavier items, so Renzel USA offers several tension levels rather than using one pusher strength for every application.

How Shelf Pushers Work
An auto feed shelf pusher system uses mounting rails, dividers and pushers to create separate rows for merchandise. The pusher sits behind the product and advances the remaining items as customers make a selection. Each row works independently, so one product can sell down without disturbing the products next to it.
The system includes several parts:
1. Front Mounting Rail. The shelf pusher and shelf divider hooks or snaps onto the adhesive front rail.
2. Stopper. The optional stopper holds the products in place at the front of the shelf.
3. Shelf Divider. Separates the rows of products.
4. Tension Spring. We offer shelf pushers in five spring tensions, from 2N to 10N. The higher the number, the higher the spring tension. Heavier products require higher spring tensions.
5. Shelf Pusher. Pushes the products toward the front of the shelf from behind the products.
6. Back Mounting Rail. The shelf divider hooks or snaps onto the adhesive back rail.
These pusher systems reduce how often employees have to manually face products throughout the day. They also keep each product in its own lane, making gaps and low stock easier to spot.
How Shelf Pushers Work

Choosing a Shelf Pusher
Pusher strength comes down mainly to what you’re putting on the shelf. A lightweight package may only need a lower-tension spring, while bottles, cans and heavier merchandise need more pressure behind them. Divider height matters too. It needs to keep neighboring rows apart without getting in the way when customers remove an item.The shelf itself also affects the setup. Standard retail shelving and refrigerated shelving don’t have quite the same requirements. Cooler displays need room for air to move between products, which is why the dividers used in those systems are vented.

Shelf Pusher Test Kits
